On 5/25/18 I too fell for a Facebook Ad (1st mistake). I figured since it was connected to Lara Spencer (whom I've watched on Good Morning America forever) it should be safe.

Wrong. On May 28 my account was charged a total of $12.34. I had ordered the elixir for the face and unknowingly for the eyes. I figured it was only $4.90 more so I let it go. (2nd mistake).

A few days later the box came with both products inside with no paperwork whatsoever. Another red flag.

This past Friday, June 7, I noticed (too late in the day to call the company), that I had been charged $89.98 and $88.99.

I called this morning and spoke with a girl named Jada. She said I hadn't cancelled within the14 days (never saw that written anywhere). She said it was stated on the website (I went thru Facebook).

After I finished yelling at her, she offered a 35% refund. I yelled some more and threatened bad reviews on every type of social media I could think of. She then spoke with her supervisor and offered an 85% refund. I agreed because I told her I didn't want to hassle with it anymore. I also told her I didn't ever want to be charged anything else and did not want to be put on anyone else's mailing list. Destroy my cc number!

After a few minutes, she stated that the refunds had been requested and would be placed back in my account in 5 - 7 days. Before we hung up, I had 2 emails stating I would be refunded a total of $134.22 and she gave me a cancellation number for both products.

Now I have to just wait and see if it really does happen.

Learned yet another lesson - do not order anything through Facebook.

Big mistake!

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

I, too, just had the same problem. Found the ad on FB.

Ordered facial cream and eye cream and paid for shipping charges only! Received products with NO paperwork. I have not seen anything about requiring a phone call to cancel or I would be charged in full for products. An $89.+ charge hit my credit card and as you described; I called and complained also.

Again, the girl offered a 35% refund and as I continued complaining, she then offered 50% refund. I told her I will take it and that it was obvious they have many complaining customers if they were approved to so quickly offer these refunds. Never received a full refund even though I said I am going to the Attorney General because this is a fraudulent practice deceiving the public. I will be contacting my credit company next.

This is not over. I never expected this to happen with it being related to Lara Spencer!

I have exactly the same problem with this company. What a scam!

I didn't order the eye cream either but it popped up on the order and I just let it go for the $4.90. Not a big deal, right! Wrong! Now I'm charged $89.98 for what?

And they mentioned they didn't charge me the $85.95 as of yet for the other cream! Also I told them I will call my cc company, than she offered a 30% deduction, than changed it to 50% deduction. I took the 50% because I don't want to argue with them any further.

This is why I hate purchasing anything online. Lesson learned, but your products in the store!

lf you charge with your credit card, no worries because credit card companies allow holders to protest and complain. lf you have proof, credit card companies will review and usually decide in favor of holder with solid proof.

Do not pay by check or with debit cards if you want a chance to get your money back, if a dispute arises. Hope this helps.
